Finbubu App Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: March 24, 2026
These App Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the mobile application (the “App”), website and related digital platforms operated by Finbubu Limited (“Finbubu”, “Platform Operator”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company incorporated in Hong Kong. Finbubu operates the App as a technology platform through which Users may access financial products and services provided by Finbubu’s licensed financial service partners (each, a “Licensed Partner”). Finbubu itself does not provide banking, lending, deposit-taking, or other regulated financial services.
The Licensed Partners whose services are made available through the App are independent entities duly licensed and regulated under Philippine law. Finbubu’s role is limited to operating the technology platform and facilitating access to such Licensed Partners’ services. Each Licensed Partner is solely responsible for the regulated financial products and services it provides.
The principal entities involved in the App are:
Each Licensed Partner is an independent legal entity. The inclusion of a Licensed Partner’s services within the App does not constitute or imply any ownership, control, agency, joint venture, or employment relationship between Finbubu and such Licensed Partner. Each Licensed Partner is solely and independently responsible for its own licensed financial products and services, and Finbubu assumes no liability therefor except as expressly stated in these Terms.
For the avoidance of doubt:
Rural Bank of Kibawe (Bukidnon), Inc. (“the Bank”) provides, as an independent Licensed Partner, deposit-taking, credit line products, and related banking services through the App. The App facilitates Users' access to the Bank's services, including loan application, deposit account application, communications, and related functions. All lending and deposit services are originated, governed, and provided by the Bank pursuant to its licence issued by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. By registering for, accessing or using the App (including any Service made available through the App), you agree to be bound by these Terms and the Product Terms applicable to any Service you use. If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and a Product Term, the Product Term shall prevail in respect of that Product or Service.
These Terms shall be effective, valid, and binding from the time of your agreement which is from the time of your downloading, activating, or using of the Finbubu App and will exist up to the time that it is terminated by you or us, save for those terms and conditions that will survive and remain effective after termination as stated in these Terms, pursuant to law or regulation, or whose operation necessarily requires survival after the termination.
We reserve the right to amend, update, or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any such changes shall become effective immediately upon posting on this page or within the App, together with the updated effective date indicated above. Your continued access to or use of the Finbubu App or any Finbubu Services after the effective date of any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms on a prospective basis. You are advised to review this page periodically to ensure that you are familiar with the latest version of the Terms.
“Licensed Partner” means a financial institution or company, independent of Finbubu, that is duly licensed under applicable Philippine law to provide regulated financial services and whose products are made accessible through the App pursuant to a separate commercial arrangement with Finbubu. For the current version of these Terms, the Licensed Partner is Rural Bank of Kibawe (Bukidnon), Inc. . Additional Licensed Partners may be added from time to time and Users will be notified of any such addition via the App or website.
“App” means the mobile application(s) and associated online interfaces through which Users access Services of Finbubu.
“User”, “you”, “your” means an individual who registers for and/or uses the App.
“Finbubu Account”, “Account” or “App Account” means the account created by a User in the App.
“Service(s)” means any product, service or functionality made available through the App.
2. Eligibility
2.1 You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to register for a Finbubu Account. By registering , you represent and warrant that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract with Finbubu. We assume no responsibility or liability for any misrepresentation you make regarding your age.
2.2 If you access or use the App or any Service on behalf of, or for the benefit of, a business entity, you represent, warrant, and undertake that (a) such entity is duly organized, validly existing, and authorized to conduct business under applicable law, and (b) you, as well as any of your officers, employees, representatives, or agents accessing or using the Finbubu App, are duly authorized to act on behalf of such entity and to legally bind it to these Terms and to all transactions or activities performed under the relevant Finbubu Account.
2.3 You agree not to impersonate any person or entity, misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation with any person or organization, or otherwise provide false or misleading information. Any such act shall constitute a material breach of these Terms. Finbubu reserves the sole right and discretion to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to or use of the App or any Service in the event of such breach or violation.
3. Registration and Account Creation
3.1 Account creation requires you to provide accurate information (including mobile number and any identification data required by the Product Terms or by applicable law) and to follow the App’s registration process (which may include OTP, e-KYC, document upload or other identity verification). You are responsible for providing accurate registration/application information, keeping your Finbubu Account up to date, and notifying us in the event of any changes to the same.
3.2 Once you have created a Finbubu Account, you will be able to view the different Services offered by Finbubu. The Services may be offered by our different partners and will be governed by an additional set of terms and conditions and other requirements.
3.3 Finbubu may verify registration information through third-party verification providers. Failure to provide requested supporting documents or to pass verification may result in suspension or denial of an Account or Service.
3.4 Each User may have one Account unless otherwise permitted by the App. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.
4. Login Credentials and Account Security
4.1 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your login credentials (including username, password, personal identification number and any OTP). You must not disclose them to any third party. All activities on your Account are presumed authorised by you unless you notify us immediately of unauthorised access. You hereby hold Finbubu harmless from any and all claims and liabilities arising from your disclosure of your passwords and other security credentials to any third party.
4.2 You must notify customer support immediately upon discovering or suspecting unauthorised use, loss or theft of your credentials. Contact details for support are set out under “Notifications and Communications” below.
4.3 Finbubu shall exercise commercially reasonable care and best efforts to implement and maintain appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect your Account and personal data, including but not limited to two-factor authentication (2FA), encryption, and device integrity verification. However, while we strive to ensure a high level of security, no system, network, or method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and Finbubu cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorised access, interception, or data breaches. To the extent permitted by law, Finbubu disclaims liability for any unauthorised access or misuse of your Account resulting from your own acts, omissions, or failure to comply with your security obligations under these Terms.
5. Account Suspension, Restriction and Deletion
5.1 We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, to: (a) suspend, restrict or limit your Account; (b) block access to the App or any Service; or (c) terminate and delete your Account where we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, breach of these Terms, unlawful activity, compromised credentials, or for compliance with legal or regulatory obligations.
5.2 Suspension or termination does not relieve you from liability or obligations accrued prior to such action.
6. Account Termination and Deletion (by User)
6.1 You may request deletion or termination of your App Account at any time by following the in-App process or contacting customer support. Certain Product Terms (for example, active loan or deposit obligations) may restrict or condition deletion and Finbubu will advise of any outstanding obligations that must be satisfied prior to deletion.
6.2 Upon termination or deletion of your Account, and to the extent permitted by applicable law and subject to the fulfillment of any outstanding obligations, we will deactivate your Account and, where applicable, remove or anonymize your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Notice. However, we may retain certain information, including but not limited to personal data and transaction records, for a longer period as may be required under applicable laws and regulations (such as anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing, taxation, or regulatory reporting requirements).
7. Fees, Charges and Third-Party Charges
7.1 The registration and opening of a Finbubu Account shall not be charged with any fees. The App may also enable transactions with third-party merchants or service providers who may impose separate fees.
7.2 Finbubu is not responsible for fees charged by third-party Payment Channels, merchants or other partners, except as otherwise required by law or by the applicable Product Terms.
8. Notifications and Communications
8.1 You consent to receiving notices, statements and transactional messages by SMS, email, push notification, in-App message or phone call. You must keep contact details current.

9. Privacy and Data Protection
9.1 The Finbubu’s Privacy Notice describes the collection, use, disclosure and retention of personal data and forms part of these Terms. The Privacy Notice is available at:

. By using the App you consent to processing of your personal data in accordance with that Privacy Notice and applicable data protection laws.
9.2 Finbubu may share your data among group entities and with authorised service providers, business partners, payment channels, credit reference agencies and regulators where necessary for performance, compliance, fraud prevention or as required by law and regulations.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1 All intellectual property rights in the App (including all software, code, designs, graphics, trademarks and content) are owned or licensed by Finbubu. No rights are transferred to you except as expressly granted for your personal use of the App. You must not reproduce, modify, sell, transfer, or create derivative works without prior written consent. You must not reverse engineer or decompile any software included in the App.
10.2 Finbubu grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the App and Finbubu IP solely for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.
10.3 “Finbubu”and the Finbubu logo are trademarks of FINBUBU LIMITED. You may not use any Finbubu trademark, trade name, or service mark without our express written permission.
10.4 You retain ownership of any content, data, or materials that you upload, submit, or make available through the Finbubu App (“User Content”). However, by submitting or posting such User Content, you grant Finbubu a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display such User Content in any form or media now known or hereafter developed, for any lawful purpose, including for improving, promoting, or redistributing the Finbubu App and related Services.
10.5 If you provide any feedback, ideas, or suggestions relating to the Finbubu App or any Finbubu IP, you acknowledge and agree that such feedback shall be deemed non-confidential and that all rights, title, and interest in such feedback shall automatically vest in Finbubu without any obligation of attribution or compensation. Finbubu shall be free to use such feedback for any purpose, including but not limited to improving or developing products and services.
10.6 Upon termination of these Terms, your limited license to use the App and Finbubu IP will automatically terminate, and you must immediately cease all use of the App and Finbubu IP.
10.7 Except for the limited rights expressly granted to you under these Terms, all rights, title, and interest in and to the Finbubu App, the Services, and the Finbubu IP are reserved by Finbubu . Any unauthorised use of the Finbubu IP shall constitute a material breach of these Terms and may result in the suspension or termination of your Account and/or legal action.
11. Third-Party Content and Services
11.1 The Finbubu App and related Services may contain or provide access to content, products, or services offered by independent third parties (“Third-Party Partners”). You acknowledge and agree that Finbubu does not control, endorse, or assume any responsibility for:
(a) the availability, accuracy, completeness, quality, reliability, legality, or non-infringement of any Third-Party Partner services, content, or resources; or
(b) any products, services, or information available on or through such Third-Party Partner platforms.
Unless expressly stated otherwise by Finbubu, the inclusion, availability, or access to such Third-Party Partner content or services within the Finbubu App shall not be construed as an endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation by Finbubu.
11.2 You agree that your use of any Third-Party Partner content, products, or services is solely at your own risk and subject to such third party’s own terms and conditions, privacy policies, and other applicable rules. Finbubu shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or claim arising out of or in connection with your access to, reliance upon, or use of any Third-Party Partner content or services.
11.3 You shall not remove, alter, obscure, or tamper with any copyright, trademark, service mark, or other proprietary rights notices incorporated in or accompanying the Finbubu App, the Services, or any Third-Party Partner materials made available through the Finbubu App.
11.4 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Finbubu disclaims all warranties, representations, and liabilities whatsoever, whether express or implied, arising from or related to any Third-Party Partner content, products, or services, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
12. Acceptable Use Policy
12.1 You agree to use the Finbubu App and related Services only for lawful, legitimate, and intended purposes, and in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and these Terms. You are solely responsible for all activities conducted under your Account and for any content you upload, submit, or otherwise make available through the Finbubu App.
12.2 You shall not use the Finbubu App in any manner that is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable, or that may damage, disable, disrupt, or impair the proper operation of the App, the Services, or any other user’s experience. This includes, without limitation, any attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or related systems, transmit malicious code, misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or engage in any activity that may violate applicable laws, infringe third-party rights, or compromise data security.
12.3 You represent and warrant that any content you provide through the Finbubu App does not infringe or violate the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of any third party. Finbubu reserves the right—but has no obligation—to monitor, remove, or restrict any content or activity it deems, in its sole discretion, to be inconsistent with these Terms or harmful to the Finbubu App or its users.
12.4 The Finbubu may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, suspend or terminate your Account and access to the Finbubu App if you violate these Terms, applicable laws, or if your use of the Services is deemed to pose a risk to other users, the system, or Finbubu.
12.5 You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Finbubu, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Finbubu App, any breach of these Terms, or any violation of applicable law.
13. Limitation of Liability
13.1 We provide the Finbubu App and related Services on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We make no representation or warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, or non-infringement.
13.2 Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, We make no warranty:
(a) as to the quality or accuracy of transactional data or information received or transmitted using the App;
(b) as to any product or service obtained using the App;
(c) that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free; or
(d) that any particular result or information will be obtained from the App or from use or availability of the Finbubu Services.
13.3 You understand and agree that transmissions over the Internet or electronic communications may be subject to delays, interruptions, interception, corruption, or errors beyond Finbubu ’s control. You acknowledge and accept all risks associated with the transmission of data over public networks and agree that Finbubu shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or disclosure resulting therefrom.
13.4 Finbubu shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, or liabilities (whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive) arising from, or in connection with, any of the following:
(a) unauthorized transactions or access not attributable to the fault or gross negligence of Finbubu;
(b) any interruption, delay, or failure of the Finbubu App due to Internet connectivity, system maintenance, technical malfunction, or any cause beyond Finbubu’s reasonable control;
(c) any change in law, regulation, or governmental directive affecting the operation of the Finbubu App or Services;
(d) any act, omission, misrepresentation, fraud, or misconduct by any third party; or
(e) your reliance upon or use of any information provided through the Finbubu App without first independently verifying its contents.
13.5 In the event that any liability is finally established by a competent court against Finbubu despite the foregoing disclaimers, you agree that the total and aggregate liability of Finbubu , whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, shall in no event exceed the amount of actual and direct damages proven to have been suffered by you, and only to the extent that such loss is solely and directly caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Finbubu .
13.6 No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained from Finbubu or through the Finbubu App shall create any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms.
14. Indemnity
14.1 You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Finbubu, its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, representatives, and agents (collectively, the “Indemnified Parties”) from and against any and all claims, actions, proceedings, demands, losses, damages, liabilities, penalties, fines, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees and costs of investigation) arising out of or related to:
(a) your access to or use of the Finbubu App or Services;
(b) any breach or alleged breach by you of these Terms or any applicable laws or regulations;
(c) any violation or alleged violation by you of the rights of any third party, including intellectual property, data privacy, or proprietary rights; or
(d) any fraudulent, negligent, or unlawful act or omission by you or any person using your Account.
14.2 You agree to fully cooperate with Finbubu in the defense or settlement of any such claim, including providing all necessary documentation, evidence, or assistance reasonably requested. Finbubu reserves the right, at its own cost, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which event you agree not to settle or compromise any such claim without the prior written consent of Finbubu .
14.3 This indemnity shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by law and shall survive the suspension, termination, deletion, or expiration of your Account and/or these Terms.
15. Force Majeure
15.1 Finbubu shall not be held liable for any delay, interruption, failure, or inability to perform any of its obligations under these Terms, or for any loss or damage you may suffer, to the extent that such delay, interruption, failure, or inability is caused, directly or indirectly, by a Force Majeure Event.
15.2 For purposes of this clause, a “Force Majeure Event” shall include, but not be limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, floods, typhoons, earthquakes, fires, epidemics or pandemics, wars, civil disturbances, insurrections, rebellions, acts of terrorism, strikes or labor disputes, acts or omissions of government authorities, changes in law or regulation, acts of third parties, telecommunications or Internet service interruptions, system or power failures, cyberattacks, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of Finbubu.
15.3 In the event of a Force Majeure Event, Finbubu shall use commercially reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact and resume normal operations as soon as practicable. However, you acknowledge that certain interruptions or delays may be unavoidable, and you agree that the Finbubu shall have no obligation to provide compensation or damages for any failure or delay in performance resulting therefrom.
15.4 The suspension or delay of performance by reason of a Force Majeure Event shall not constitute a breach of these Terms and shall extend the period for performance by such time as may be reasonably necessary under the circumstances.
16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
16.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
16.2 In the event of any dispute, concern, or complaint arising out of or in connection with the App or any Service, you are encouraged to first contact Finbubu's customer support via the in-App helpdesk or email as set out under Clause 8, to allow us to address your concern promptly. Nothing in this clause limits your right to lodge a complaint with any relevant regulatory authority, including the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) or the National Privacy Commission (NPC).
16.3 Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms that cannot be resolved through the process in Clause 16.2 shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the proper courts of Parañaque City, Philippines. You expressly waive any other venue or jurisdiction you may otherwise have under the law.
16.4 Nothing in this Clause 16 shall prevent Finbubu from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its rights and interests.
16.5 Where a dispute relates solely to a product or service provided by a Licensed Partner and not to Finbubu's platform services, such dispute shall be governed by the dispute resolution provisions of the applicable Product Terms of that Licensed Partner. Finbubu shall not be a necessary party to such proceedings unless the claim is directed at Finbubu’s own acts or omissions.
17. Miscellaneous
17.1 No Waiver
Failure or delay by Finbubu to exercise any right, power, or remedy under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver thereof, nor shall any single or partial exercise of any right, power, or remedy preclude any other or further exercise thereof. Any waiver of rights must be made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Finbubu to be effective.
17.2 Severability
If any provision is held invalid, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.
17.3 Entire Agreement
These Terms and accepted disclosures constitute the entire agreement between the Parties with respect to the Platform product.
Acceptance
I confirm having read and understood and agree to the foregoing Finbubu App Terms and Conditions.
By accepting these Finbubu App Terms and Conditions and the Finbubu Privacy Policy, I signify my express consent in accordance with Republic Act No. 10173, otherwise referred to as the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations as well as other applicable confidentiality and data privacy laws of the Republic of the Philippines. I agree to hold Finbubu , its subsidiaries, its affiliates ,its officers, directors and stockholders, free and harmless from any and all liabilities, damages, actions, claims, and suits in connection with the implementation or processing of Personal Data in relation to my consent or authorization and my use of the Finbubu App.
I acknowledges and agrees that electronic records and signatures are valid, binding, and enforceable, and shall be treated as equivalent to physical documents and handwritten signatures for all purposes under Philippine law.
